Iran fired ballistic missiles into Israel in retaliation

‎Tel Aviv, Israel – Tehran launched a barrage of missiles into Israel in retaliatory attacks after Tel Aviv had attacked nuclear facilities and killed generals and scientists in Iran.

‎Iran retaliated late on Friday by unleashing scores of ballistic missiles on Israel, where explosions flared in the skies over Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

‎Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei vowed to “inflict heavy blows” in retaliation for Israel’s overnight strikes.

‎Explosions were heard in Tel Aviv and black smoke was seen rising over Israel capital’s skyline.

‎Dozens of people were injured and taken to hospital in Israel, no death has been reported.

‎Earlier, the Israel Defence Force said three Iranian military commanders were killed in last night’s strikes while Tehran says six scientists have also been killed.

‎US President Donald Trump has urged Iran to make a deal on its nuclear programme, warning of “even more brutal” Israeli attacks.

‎The IDF has instructed the public to shelter enter protected spaces and shelter until further notice.

‎It says its defence systems are operating to intercept missiles launched from Iran.

‎”A short while ago, the IDF identified missiles launched from Iran toward the territory of the State of Israel,” it said in a statement.

‎”Leaving the protected space is only permitted following an explicit directive.”
