Paris, France -Zimbabwe international midfielder Marshall Munetsi has joined Ligue 1 side Paris FC in France on a season-long-loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English Premier League.
Munetsi has joined Paris FC on a six-month loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves).
The 29-year-old midfielder, who previously played for Reims in Ligue 1, will strengthen Paris FC’s squad until the end of the season. Munetsi has made 13 Premier League appearances for Wolves this season, scoring once.
Paris FC coach Stephane Gilli welcomed Munetsi, saying he’s a “profile we didn’t have, a player with great athletic power, a box-to-box midfielder”.
The team is currently 15th in Ligue 1, two points above the relegation play-off spot.
This move comes after Munetsi’s playing time decreased under Wolves’ manager Rob Edwards, and he’s expected to make an immediate impact in France .
