Johannesburg – A Zimbabwe man who was on the run for murdering his wife and two daughters in the United Kingdom has been arrested in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma,45, was arrested in Johannesburg by South Africa police on Friday evening.
Tshuma is suspected to have killed his wife Nothabo Zandile Tshuma, 42, Natalie, 15, and Nala, five.
The triple murder has shocked the Zimbabwe and UK communities.
Tshuma who has been on the wanted list for a week hadn’t been seen for several days. The murdered victims are shown on the main picture of this story.
Tshuma is believed travelled to Zimbabwe on Saturday and then to South Africa.
Police in the UK, Bedford forced entry into the £1.3 million property owned by the Tshumas after the family had not been seen for days.
The three bodies of the victims were then discovered by the police in the house leading to the police placing Ndodana Tshuma on the wanted list.
Reports have said Zandile Tshuma had asked her husband for divorce and the couple were in the process of selling their house as part of the split.
UK police had been frantically trying to locate Tshuma in the past days and have enlisted interpol to help arrest the suspect to bring him to justice.
The UK is home to thousands of Zimbabweans who work in various sectors of the economy.
