‎Econet apologies after network shutdown‎ ‎

Harare – Zimbabwe largest mobile network, Econet has apologized to it’s customers after the network went out for most times on Wednesday.

“Please note that we are currently experiencing network challenges that have affected voice and data services for some customers.
‎
‎”We are working diligently to resolve the challenges. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.”

Econet did not give the reasons why it’s system shutdown.

‎Econet network went down Wednesday morning inconveniencing customers who rely on it for SMS, Calls and it’s mobile platform Ecocash.

The Strive Masiyiwa owned mobile network has boasts of more than 9 million subscribers, which is about 69 percent of the Zimbabwe mobile users base.
