Harare building destroyed by fire
Harare – A Harare building in the Central Business District (CBD) on corner Speke and Chinhoyi Street was destroyed by fire early Wednesday morning which left clothes and shoes shop owners counting losses.
Onlookers and vendors were shocked on Wednesday morning when they saw the shops that used to be housed on the building completely destroyed.
The cause of the fire is no known.
Most buildings in Harare’s CBD have been subdivided into small shops which sell clothing, shoes, hardware and other items.
