Harare – A top apostolic church leader in Harare who is known as Madzibaba Enock is facing allegations of illegally parceling land to unsuspecting members of his congregants which has led clashes within the church.
Madzibaba Enock whose real name is Herbet Senda runs his church from an open ground in Budiriro 5 near council paddocks.
The church leader is accused of parceling land using President Emmerson Mnangagwa and the ruling ZANU PF party.
Senda was not immediately available to comment.
Madzibaba Enock, is a controversial figure within the area where he runs his church and the Johanne Masowe Echishanu Co-operative.
A commission of inquiry appointed by Mnangagwa on the operations of Harare city council exposed massive corruption within the metropolitan where land barons are stealing council land.
Madzibaba Enock is accused of selling same land to different people which has led to fist fights on the ground.
City officials according to sources have approached Madzibaba Enock and warned him to stop illegal land deals as well as to reverse the illegal activities.
