Harare – The US embassy in Zimbabwe has announced that Phil Nervig is now the deputy chief of mission in Harare.
“Welcome to Deputy Chief of Mission Phil Nervig who joins us from the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines. He previously served in Tanzania, Indonesia, Zambia, Ukraine, and Laos. Originally from Minnesota, Phil is here in Zimbabwe with his wife, Katherine, and their two boys,” the US embassy in Zimbabwe said.
“Welcome, Mauya, Vho tanganedzwa, Siyakwamukela, Mwabonwa Phil!.”
Nervig will deputise, Ambassador Pamela M. Tremont who came to head the US embassy in Harare last year.
