Harare – Legendary American Rhythm and Blues star Joe Thomas is scheduled to perform in Harare on August 12 after staging another show South Africa.
Thomas who is performing for the second time in Zimbabwe will stage a show at Old Hararians Sports Club with the cheapest ticket going for US$50.
”ZIMBABWE!!! Coming To Harare! I a want To See You! Get Your Tickets!!!,” Joe Thomas announced on his Facebook page.
The 52- year-old once came to Zimbabwe in 2008.
Early bird tickets for the show are for US$50, after August 3 the cheapest ticket will be US$60.
For VIP early birds will pay US$150 and after August 3, the VIP ticket will cost US$180.
Tickets are being sold at Cafe Nush at Highlands Park, Avondale, Village Walk and Techtools Gadget Garage in Avondale.
The promoters said no cooler boxes will be allowed at the venue of the show.
Joe Thomas rose to fame in the 1990s and was a favourite R&B singer for many Zimbabweans.
His albums include –Everything (1993),
All That I Am (1997), My Name Is Joe (2000), Better Days (2001), And Then… (2003) and Ain’t Nothin’ Like Me (2007) among many other albums.
Joe Thomas will stage a show in South Africa on August 9 at the DP Wonderers Stadium in Johannesburg.
