Kampala, Uganda – Zimbabwe National rugby team beat Namibia 30-28 to win the Rugby Africa trophy and qualify for the World Cup in Australia in 2027.
Zimbabwe national rugby team known as the Sables last qualified for the World Cup 34 years ago in 1991.
The tough match between rivals Namibia and Zimbabwe was a draw, 16-16 at half time.
Zimbabwe rugby team has been facing challenges due to lack of sponsorship which affected grooming players.
