Econet apologises for weekend data outage

Harare – Zimbabwe’s largest mobile telephone network, Econet on Sunday apologized to it’s customers for poor internet connectivity experienced from Friday into the weekend.

‎”We apologize for the Data challenges you may have experienced. Normal service has since been restored. Any inconvenience caused is sincerely regretted,” Econet said in a statement.

‎Econet took two days to fix intermittent internet troubles that were experienced by its customers.

‎The mobile giant which has Xxx customers across Zimbabwe did not give details on what is transpiring or when the customers could have normal services.

‎Econet is owned by Strive Masiyiwa and the network is the biggest in the country followed by Net-One and Telecel.
