Mutare – Simbisa Brands has been criticized for advertising a hotdog costing 50 cents outside Bakers Inn in Mutare but when a customer gets into he shop they discover it actually costs a $1.
“This banner is outside Bakers Inn, Mutare.
It advertises a hotdog for 50 cents.
But at the counter they tell you their hotdogs start at $1, not 50 cents.
This is a very dishonest campaign by Simbisa Brands,” an irate customer wrote on social media.
Simbisa Brands is one of the largest food company that owns Bakers Inn, Chicken Inn, Pizza Inn among many other food outlets.
