Harare – A fire has broke out at Glenview 8 home industry where furniture is made by various small scale carpenters and welders in Harare.
Several fires have destroyed the complex in the past years.
The complex houses thousands of small scale carpenters, welders and traders who make furniture from beds, wardrobes mostly household furniture.
The cause of the fire is not yet known and the exact value of the burned furniture has not been ascertained but eye witnesses said thousands of dollars worth of furniture has been destroyed.
