I am sharing this to warn young male political activists in Zimbabwe about ZANUPF honey traps.
You probably read the emails and WhatsApp messages sent to me by a woman called Comfort Dondo, which I posted on Twitter as a warning to others.
She was sent to trap me by the regime, using honey trap methods.
I saw her intentions from afar, rebuffed her, and she went ballistic after two years of trying to get close to me.
This past week, she went on a Twitter Space where she did not hide that she is a regime asset, and she shared that in the video below.
She was angry, asking why I criticise Emmerson Mnangagwa, and declaring the “Zimbabwe yakauya neropa” slogan, a ZANUPF line used against Zimbabweans demanding that their human and constitutional rights be respected.
She said I was benefiting from the suffering of Zimbabweans when I expose corruption committed by “her President Mnangagwa” and his criminal cartels. How? She did not explain. She says by exposing corruption I am destroying the country and not building it.
She claimed that I reached out to her to recruit diasporans so I could run for president.
Yet she is the one who wrote emails and WhatsApp messages declaring undying love for me in order to trap me.
She said in the video below, “Any journalist would not have a personal vendetta against Emmerson Mnangagwa,” again giving away her real political masters.
Why would any normal journalist not have a vendetta against a man who lets 2,500 women die giving birth, presides over 95% unemployment, the highest inflation in the world, the worst corruption in Southern Africa, derelict hospitals, and more?
She has hoodwinked some people in the opposition into believing that she is with them, in order to gain a platform to reach people like myself.
I was lucky because some people in ZANUPF warned me that she was linked to individuals like Tafadzwa Mugwadi, the ZANUPF MP for Buhera.
When I blocked her on all social media platforms, she teamed up with ZimLies to launch attacks accusing me of abusing women.
When that did not work, she started joining Twitter Spaces sharing the same falsehoods.
When I released her emails and WhatsApp messages, she then started saying she is trying to protect Zimbabweans from my future presidency because she has “evidence” that I want to run for office.
This was a foolish attempt to tap into Nelson Chamisa’s supporters and make them think that I am his competitor.
Thankfully, the regime and the people it handles are not smart. The attack on me by Zimbabwe’s information minister yesterday after I exposed that he didn’t have the PhD degrees he claims to have, and how he was tagging ZimLies and repeating the same talking points given to Comfort Dondo — was identical to what she was saying and continues to use on Twitter spaces surreptitiously sponsored by the regime!
I was lucky not to be trapped. Others might not be so lucky. Be careful about the women who reach out to you online or social media!
