Harare – Controversial businessman Wicknel Chivayo on Tuesday donated a brand new 2025 Range Rover to musician Jah Prayzah and US$150 000 cash.
Jah Prayzah, whose real name is Mukudzei Mukombe was handed over the donated car and cash at Exquisite Car dealership in Harare.
Chivayo’s donation to Jah Prayzah comes barely days after he gifted evangelist Eunor Guti a Toyota Landcruiser 300 series VXR and US$250 000 cash.
He also gave Busisa Moyo chairman of Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) and his Chief Executive Officer, Nicholas Ndebele, two Toyota Land cruisers 300 series VXR.
Earlier he gave Lawrence Katsiru a Mercedes Benz GLSS450 4matic and Israel Muhana a Mercedes Benz GLE 300d 4matic.
Chivayo has been accused by his critics of using proximity to President Emmerson Mnangagwa and top ruling ZANU PF officials to win government tenders.
Chivayo has been seen on pictures with Kenyan President William Ruto and Tanzanian Samia Suluhu Hassan.
He has been donating cash and cars like confetti at a wedding with people questioning his source of income.
Mnangagwa shielded Chivayo from police scrutiny after he was asked by editors if the state was not concerned about the controversial businessman’s dealings.
