Over the past few days, I have had a MEMORABLE and deeply HUMBLING experience of paying courtesy visits to TWO of East Africa’s most DISTINGUISHED Heads of State, Her Excellency Mama Samia Suluhu Hassan of TANZANIA and His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto, President of the REPUBLIC OF KENYA. Meeting with such exceptional leaders who command a mix of HUMILITY, intelligence and PURPOSE always leave me both inspired and challenged to think BIGGER for our CONTINENT. Both Presidents are presiding over FAST-GROWING, economically resilient nations that continue to INSPIRE the WORLD 🌍.
Mama Samia’s visionary leadership has elevated Tanzania to new heights by COMMISSIONING various huge Hydropower Projects and INTENSIFYING rural electrification. She is a PHENOMENAL leader whose focus on inclusive development and women EMPOWERMENT is spectacular. Our meeting at her home in Zanzibar was nothing short of INSPIRATIONAL. Personally, Zanzibar has an even DEEPER spiritual meaning, being the SACRED place where the founders of my Church, Johanne Masowe Chishanu, used to PRAY. Ndakaisa MUCHINJIKO MITATU 🙏🙏🙏 ku Ngirozi inotungamirira AFRICA.
In Nairobi yesterday, it was an equal HONOUR to engage President Ruto over dinner at State House. He is always a pragmatic, bold, PRAYERFUL and reform-driven LEADER who has propelled Kenya into the top FIVE fastest-growing economies in Africa 📈. His Excellency’s command of policy, political economy, and YOUTH EMPOWERMENT is nothing short of MASTERFUL. From Mombasa to Turkana, Kenya today is LEADING in growth and infrastructure development.
Both Tanzania’s Vision 2025 and Kenya’s Bottom-Up Economic Agenda are economic BLUEPRINTS that I stand READY to contribute CAPITAL, ideas and long-term investment partnerships that will make them a SPLENDID reality.
As Tanzania approaches its general elections in October 2025, i have no doubt that Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) remains the PEOPLE’S PARTY of choice. Just as ZANU PF ushered Zimbabwe into INDEPENDENCE in 1980, CCM liberated Tanzania from German colonial rule in 1961 and British control in 1964. The legacy of Mwalimu Julius Nyerere still ILLUMINATES the Tanzanian political landscape today and the forthcoming elections can only be a CCM’s CELEBRATION of DELIVERED PROMISES. Any opposition party can only dream of a night at State House…let them DREAM ON !!!
This is the MAIN reason why even in Zimbabwe, I would rather ASSOCIATE myself with the INCUMBENT Government and not these so-called “opposition political” outfits who wield no STATE Authority. Just imagine when i intend to develop a $1 billion energy project, who would I present it to? An opposition “shadow minister in waiting”? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 They have already labeled me a “CHIGANANDA”, which I have gladly accepted with honor. I don’t expect any useless unelected individuals to give me any AUDIENCE to present project PROPOSALS to them, they always criticize even if they are to BENEFIT the entire NATION. Even if I am given the opportunity, the BEST I could expect is a gentle pat on the back and a solemn, “Don’t worry, God is in it,” or, be a little more patient “We need new leaders.” 🤣🤣🤣. As an aspiring BILLIONAIRE, these LULLABY are of ZERO commercial value to me !!! I am a businessman, not a MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER. I want money TODAY not in 2031…
Her Excellency Mama Samia and His Excellency President Ruto, I continue to extend my greatest APPRECIATION and RESPECT for the intellectual engagement during these visits. You are LEADERS who LEAD unapologetically and with your VISION, our beloved continent is poised for UNPRECEDENTED growth. I am PROUD to associate myself with levers of power, who make things happen.
Africa’s story has ONLY JUST BEGUN… and those of us who believe in BUILDING, must BUILD with those who GOVERN !!!!
