Harare – The Harare magistrate court will deliver it’s ruling on the rape case involving two men, Thabo Blessing Dube and Martin Nigel Charlie who faces charges of raping socialite Mai Jeremaya.
The two men have denied the charges.
Martin Charlie tool the witness stand on Monday in which he told the court that he had consensual and transactional sex with Ashley Masendeke, Mai Jeremaya’s real name.
He said Masendeke charge him US$20 to have sex for an hour after which they went to Paradise Lodge at 15 Frank Johnson road.
The rape took place on April 30, 2025.
Charlie said after the sex Masendeke told him that she had enjoyed the sex.

In her testimony Mai Jeremaya said she was intimidated by Charlie and Dube before being raped.
She said she was forced to perform oral sex on both men before they took turns to rape her four times.
Masendeke was then driven back into town after being given US$20 and an Inndrive was hired for her by the two men.
Mai Jeremaya came out public through videos explaining her ordeal when the two men were arrested.
She hired private detective, Tafadzwa Chidawa to arrest Charlie and Dube before they were handed over to police.
Mai Jeremaya’s rape case has been followed by people across the country and Zimbabweans in the diaspora.
Harare magistrate, Letwin Rwodzi will deliver her ruling on Friday.
