South Africa – Former Zimbabwe Warriors and Orlando Pirates soccer striker Tendai Ndoro has died in South Africa.
He was 40.
Ndoro was reportedly found dead in his apartment in South Africa.
Ndoro played for Zimbabwe’s national football team who are known as the Warriors.
Ndoro whose nickname was ‘Fire’ played for Orlando Pirates, Mpumalanga Black Aces,Highlands Park, Ajax Cape Town and Chicken Inn among other football clubs.
At his peak Ndoro, the lanky striker who was born in Bulawayo could change a game by scoring goals.
“Orlando Pirates Football Club is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our former striker, Tendai Ndoro (2015–2017),” Orlando Pirates FC said on X
“The club extend heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.”
