Harare – The Harare International Festival of Arts (HIFA) which has not been held for years will roll back in August, the organisers announced this weekend.
In a brief statement HIFA said it will hold shows from 03 August to 09 August 2026 with the theme “Up”. The was stopped before Covid-19 due to funding constraints.
HIFA said it is excited to also gave dates for the next two years which are 26 April to 2 May 2027 and 01 May to 07 May 2028.
The biggest arts festival in the country also gave comedy series dates before the main show in August.
”As HIFA rolls out, it will also present:
• “Laughter, the Best Medicine” monthly stand-up comedy series. Launch performances: 26, 27, 28 June 2026 (Harare) & 04 July 2026 (Bulawayo),” HIFA said.
”Zimbabwe Independence ” series of annual world-wide tours by Zimbabwean artists as lead-up to Zimbabwe’s Golden Jubilee
•IHAS: 20 September 2026
• “The Right Stuff”: 07 to 13 December 2026.”
