Liverpool, UK – Liverpool Football Club have reached an agreement with Newcastle United to buy striker Alexander Isak for a record £130 million tranfer fee.
The deal was agreed on Sunday after months of failure. Isak had refused to extend his contract at Newcastle.
Isak, a Swedish international will go for medicals Merseyside on Monday.
The contract details at Liverpool are yet to be released to the media.
Isak’s move to Liverpool will boost the Merseyside strike force.
