Mutare -Reverend Obadiah Msindo’s hired bouncers were escorted back to Harare after failing to violently take over Manicaland Destiny of Africa Network (Danet) offices led by Wilson Masokowere in Mutare.
Msindo hired four trucks loaded with bouncers from Harare trying to evict Masokowere and Temba Sauramba in a failed and shameful attempt.
Unknowingly they were met by Mutare Residents who resisted the move.
The bouncers had to run for their dear lives as residents threatened instant justice on them following harassment.
”The drama started when bouncers disturbed business at the Mutare offices ,some who had came from different parts of Manicaland both seeking land and updating their files were not happy with the conduct of bouncers who harassed people and this is the point when residents mobilized each other and resisted the move,”said another source.
”The reason the residents resisted is because of the projects being undertaken by Masokowere and Danet Manicaland which most of them are successful ,”said a source.
”Msindo has caused confusion in several projects he has tried to take over countrywide,” he said.
This is not the first time Msindo has tried to take over offices at number 29 Fifth Avenue in Mutare but all attempts have been stopped by residents.
Masokowere is in the process of electrifying some of the projects in Mutare where he is undertaking several projects.
Masokowere is addressing key areas affecting residents ,so he is going nowhere,”said one resident in Destiny of Lot 1 in Dora.
