France – Tennis star, Coco Gauf is shining in glory after winning her second grand slam, the French open on Saturday after beating Aryn Sabalenka in a thrilling final.
Gauf beat word No. 1 6-7 (5), 6-2, 6-4 in a thrilling French Open women’s final.
”Wow. This means so much to me truly….french open champion🥹
i worked so hard for this moment and for it to have happened is insane. thank you God ❤️ and thank you everyone. this means the world….,” Gauf said after the game.
”I ‘m still in shock honestly can’t find the words but all I can say for now is just thank you and never give up on your dreams🫶🏾.”
Barack Obama, the former US president and his wife Michele congratulated Gauf in separate messages on X.
”Congratulations to @CocoGauff for an amazing championship at the French Open — the first American singles champion at @RolandGarros in a decade. You make us all proud,” Barack Obama wrote.

Gauf, 21, won her first grand slam when she won the 2023 US Open.
