Harare – The ruling ZANU PF party will hold it’s Politburo and Central Committee meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
“The Secretary General of ZANU PF, Cde. Dr. ObertMpofu, wishes to advise all members of a Politburo meeting on Wednesday 26th March 2025 at 10:00hrs and a Central Committee meeting on Thursday 27th March 2025 at 10:00hrs,” a notice by ZANU PF spokesman, Chris Mutsvangwa said.
“Members are advised to be seated by 09:45hrs sharp.”
The Politburo and Central Committee meetings comes at a time when war veteran Blessed Geza called for mass protests on March 31 across the country.
Geza who was expelled from ZANU PF is wanted by police on charges of underming the authority of President Emmerson Mnangagwa and inciting the public to commit violence.
Geza has called for Mnangagwa to step down saying the veteran ruler has failed to run the economy.
