Harare – The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe on Monday announced that its system went down affecting banking services in the southern African country.
”The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe wishes to notify all stakeholders of a technical challenge being experienced on our network,” the central bank said in a statement.
”This is affecting most systems and may result in delays in some banking services.
We are working diligently to restore all services and will be providing updates as necessary.”
The central bank did not give details of the exact banking services that have been affected.
