Harare – Feisty Zimbabwean lawyer and activist, Fadzayi Mahere has turned 40 years of age.
Mahere, a constitutional lawyer and an ex-Member of Parliament of the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) posted pictures of her birthday celebrations on social media.

My heart is full.✨🥂4️⃣0️⃣🥂✨,” Mehere wrote on her Facebook page.
Mahere is popular on social media for speaking her mind questioning ZANU PF ministers and government officials who are underperforming.
She also writes about law, wellness and encourages Zimbabweans to wake up early at 5.A.M to prepare for the day.
Whenever she registers complaints against the government of President Emmerson Mnangagwa or the deteriorating situation in the country, Mahere signs off her tweets with her signature line “We need new leaders”.
She has 847 000 followers on X and 167 000 followers on Facebook.
Mahere has been arrested for her activism in the past but she has remained steadfast.
She was elected MP in the 2023 general elections but resigned later on after there were key disagreements in the CCC that was led by Nelson Chamisa.
