Harare – Zimbabwe karatekas and fitness world is in mourning following the death of Sensei Mugove Muhambi who died on Sunday morning in a road traffic accident in Harare.
Muhambi was 48.
Muhambi was graded 4th Dan black belt karate holder in 2012.
He died early Sunday morning when his Honda Fit encroached into an opposite lane and was involved in a head-on collision with a Toyota GD6 along Borrowdale road.
He died on the spot while two occupants in a Toyota GD6 were injured.
Muhambi will be buried on Monday in Epworth.
Several people including celebrities have send their condolences to the Muhambi family on social media.
Muhambi turned fitness trainer in recent years making friends with Zimbabwe’s celebrities with many describing him as soft spoken and cheerful person.
His Facebook book posts shows him training and in some video posts shows him singing in church.
