Gweru, Zimbabwe – President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Friday commissioned 105 officer cadets at the Zimbabwe Military Academy (ZMA) in Gweru.
The commissioned officers are 89 from the Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) and 16 from the Air Force of Zimbabwe (AFZ).
The commissioned officers passed a rigorous one and half years Regular officer cadet course number 3/41/24.
The commissioning parade was attended by the Zimbabwe Defence Forces (ZDF) commander Emmanuel Matatu and ZNA commander, Walter Asher Tapfumanei among many other senior military officers.
Defence Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri was also in attendance.
The ZMA is the bedrock of military training in the southern African country.
