Harare – The Harare City Council has removed concrete barriers that were along Herbert Chitepo road at the front of the former United States embassy.
The US embassy has since relocated to Westgate suburb and the Americans sold the building to government.
The formerly US embassy building which faces the Harare Gardens on Herbert Chitepo road is now offices to the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC).
The concrete barriers were placed at the then US embassy as a security measure.
