Harare – Zimbabwe’s largest mobile telephone operator, Econet has announced that it will shutdown for nine hours over the weekend for routine maintenance.
”NOTICE: Please be advised of a planned system maintenance from 31 Jan 9pm – 1 Feb 2026 at 6am. You may experience some service interruptions during this period,” Econet said in a statement to it’s clients.
Last weekend Econet’s mobile cash platform Ecocash was down for regular maintance.
Ecocash has been going up and down on its platform in recent days inconveniencing their customers.
