South Africa, Johannesburg – Zimbabwe church leader of Johane The Fifth of Africa commander Archbishop Andby Makururu has met some South African ruling party African National Congress (ANC) leadership and traditional leadership in the neighboring country where the latter promised to offer spiritual guidance.
Makururu was warmly received at O.R Tambo International Airport this week by some ANC councillors.
The visit is part of his ongoing engagements in the Southern African region, where he is actively promoting unity.
His recent diplomatic activities include a meeting with Mozambican President Daniel Chapo and multiple engagements with Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa at State House.
”I met some ANC leadership at district level and Chiefs and other traditional leaders and deliberated on a number of issues that include unity and they were happy that l was ready to offer them spiritual guidance,”he said.
”The ANC leaders including councillors and traditional leaders have promised to take me to other several provinces in South Africa, they are actually happy how l have united the the Southern African Region,” Makururu added.
”Actually some of the ANC members have since joined our church and they have since promised also come to Zimbabwe during our end of year massive church prayer.”
Makururu now command a huge following of two million people across the globe.
He was recently invited by Chapo to heal the nation after post election violence rocked Mozambique last year threatening to destabilize the country.
